His and Hers lap quilts using Lucy’s Crab Shack by Sweetwater for Moda. Pattern also by Sweetwater.
How many charm packs did you use to make the salt air picnic blanket? Did you use regular cotton or laminated fabric on the back?
I wanted to use laminated cotton on the back but was having it professionally quilted and didn’t know if they’d hate that, so I went with a great coordinating print from Salt Air. I honestly can’t remember how many charm packs I used…4 or 5 I think? I had a bunch leftover.
I love the carpenters star quilt! can you tell me what size the HSTs are? Thanks
Pam
I used charm squares, so each HST is around 4.5 inches. I just sewed up the middle and cut in half! Here is a tutorial by Crafty Tammie: http://www.craftytammie.com/2013/11/classic-modern-quilts-giveaway.html
